But hey.. Its all vegetarian la...

Although they didnt taste exactly the same .. as compared to the real thing(meat) .. but the presentation and food taste is nice!

Me and Zee had a Vege Pizza and it was tasteless. The cheese fries were nice though. Just when we were swearing not to come back again, the waitress started to give out Cotton Candy.. For Freeeeeeeee!!

Media Christmas Party @ Ritz Carlton
Me and Guoxian were very glad that we attended the Christmas gathering. There were lots of festive goodies from appetizers, main course(turkey and all) and desserts.

And guess what! I took part in Q and A and won 3 nights stay in Ritz Carlton, Laguna California. I am not going to fly there but maybe i can auction it out in Ebay or something! hahaha

XiaoYing is busy this week and who other to invite... than my good friend.. Old on air partner .. Moses Lim!! He and his wife came. He lost 20KG.. His wife lost more than 10Kg!!
We had an enjoyable time eating the fine nice cuisine of this new restaurant in Pan Pacific!
Its the best meal so far! Tasty, healthy and VERY VERY good!

This is my favourite Salad.
It looks really normal but its so tasty!
The sliced tuna are toasted and wish the fresh greens and healthy dressing, makes it such a nice appetizer before your sinful Main.

Some Hot Dog place @ Vivo City

Had lunch with mum at this NEW Hot Dog place, next to the food courts of Vivo City. We had the chicken Burger meal and my god, the chicken burger was the SMALLEST burger i have ever seen, for that price!

Burger+ Chilli Fries+ Drink = $9.50

Perhaps the best thing in the restaurant that day was my mum's smile.

Home Made Salad @ 972 Studio
When i tell people, i eat a lot of salad to loose weight, they give me a wierd look and say they are not goat.

But who in the world can resist the yummy taste of Kevin's home made salad. What you see in the picture is... Salad tossed in Shredded Black pepper chicken, with dash of garlic flavour Olive oil, Italian Herbs and also, honey mustard. To complete it, 2 Toasted Cheese infused sausages from Carefour.

I thought this blog was getting a bit too commercialized, so i decided to also post my own self-made dinner.

We were all at Macik's place and we had salad dinner. So i made salad, tossed with Black Pepper Tuna, cooked beans with Herbs. With a good glass of champagne and perfect dinner company, it was indeed a pleasant rendezvous!

It has been a long time since i started my work and didn't have time to visit my good friend Bi Ru, who works in Paradiz Centre. So today i made a trip and while waiting for her, i ate my favourite Nai Lemak!

It Green colour rice on top of a banana leaf. They have fried fish(with sweet sour sauce some more!), Achar, Curry Vege, Chicken Wings & Drumsticks.... And know whats the beauty of it all, its NOT expensive.

This particular plate u r looking at is only $4. They have different sets too! Please try, if u r nearby!

Me and Guoxian finished work and decided to have dinner. So we were driving and deciding and we made our way here. Its directly opposite the public carpark of SGH.

Their MUST TRY speciality - Fried Nonya Chang!
Crispy on the outside and delicious on the inside.
When it came, i immediately ate it, and hence i can only replace my blog photo with this picture. hahaha. Its $2.80 each though. Yummy!!

This is practically one of the better deals in Orchard Road. But whats so special about this then???

1. Noodles are crunchy and chewy, not soggy
2. On sweet black sauce.
3. They have 3 Fried Wontons and also 2 soup ones

All these for only $2.50 during lunch and $2.80 all other timings. I was there this morning at 11am and there were lots of VILLAGE workers eating there. Guess they dun have food benefits from their working place or their food is not as nice as this! haha.

赛螃蟹 - Oil Boiled Egg White Wif Fish & Egg Yolk on Top
三杯鸡 - Chicken cooked in 3 cups of liquid ingredients
拔丝香蕉 - Hot bananas dipped in melted sugar

During this period, they have a special Menu. $50 per person and you get to eat an Asparagus & Mushroom Appetizer, Clear Chicken Soup, Main Course of Ribs(as featured above), Big Krunchy Prawns on top of Noodles & Dessert: Fried Mooncake with Ice Cream.
Quite a good deal cause the dining atmosphere is good!

After so many days of Big Fish Big Meat, i had my first Detox lunch. Not Cheap ok.
So Dear, Subway, please reduce your salad price. $5 for a plate of Vege is over pricing.
Anyway, Singapore is full of temptations... i mean food. Really difficult to maintain a slim figure here. Eat day and night! I wanna migrate to some village where i cook my own meals all the time. Make my own salad all the time. haha. I know I know. Not possible. Meanwhile, Subway Salad seems like a viable option.

Oh My God. Its another feast again! But hey, the food here is so so nice.
We had Sashimi Salad and Yakiniku(beef) Salad for starters. Then a Big Prawn Miso Soup. This was tasty! Followed with "BBQ your own" Beef(marinated with MISO) and BBQ Fish. It was indeed sinful.
But none others beat the nice look of this dish below.

Its lobster meat on rice! Its indeed a treat! And guess what, the not that expensive.
Be careful of poking yourself by the loster's moustache. hahaha..
For such quality of food, its definitely worth your money dining at Sushi Tei.

Paddy Fields Thai Restaurant

A few of us had a sumptous dinner tonight. This is one of the special dishes. Its Tom Yam Ba Ku Teh.
A combination of 2 cultures, indeed very creative.
We could almost say, Best of both worlds, in this case, countries.

Grilled Tiger prawns curled up with side servings of Special Gravy and Lychees!
If you've only had lychees in your Margarita or Martini, then you should explore them in your food too.
This restaurant is a stand alone structure, just in front of Anchor Point.
Dinning Kaki's said this used to be a brewery. Anyway, if you're still lost, its opposite IKEA.

Da Paolo Takeout Place @ Holland V

It is quite seldom that i go to that part of Holland Village. Its the opposite side of Cold Storage and Burger King. Didn't know Da Paolo was kinda monopolising its existence with different Themed restaurants.

All of them didn't interest me, except this one. I cannot remember the name(its at Blk 43) but me and Ian was attracted to the Takeout Pasta, Pasta Sauce, Salad and Cakes! We shared a $3 Rasberry Chiffon Cake and it was so yummy that it was shouting "home made" in our mouth. This is when you can differentiate what is from a factory and what is made fresh with marvellous ingredients. Nothing fancy here but just freshly cooked, hence making it more pricy. hahah....

Kintamani Indonesian Restaurant

I've always liked Rendang!! and also the Yellow Rice.
So i was kinda overwhelmed by this dish cause its my favourite afterall, but not in super big portion. On top of that, the yellow rice is contained in a banana leaf. So cute but yet serves its purpose of bringing out the fragrance and the aroma of the rice!

I must confess.. i've always liked Fish and Co. But if you like fried fish and also indonesian dishes, step aside all the other restaurants cause this particular Fried Fish with the VERY YUMMY sauce tops the taste bud for my lunch. What you see here is before... I didn't show you the "after" picture cause, it was only the piece of Banana Leaf left. hahaha

Oriental Hotel F&B Outlets

Had a lunch with Patreen. She took me to 樱桃园 on the 5th Floor.
We both had Chinese Set lunches. Lots of nice chinese fine cuisine with classy decor!
My most memorable dish of the afternoon.....Black Pepper Fried Mee Swa.
If you've tried to fry Mee Swa at home, you will know how difficult it is.
This one is SUPER NICE!

Voted by high class "TATLER' magazine as the best restaurant in Singapore.
If you like buffet, you must try!! Perfect dining atmosphere too!
But for me, $20 for dessert buffet will be enough to satify my sweet tooth!
